So glad I found You!

So glad I found you! I have been couponing since 9/09 and stockpiling since 3/10, so I'm relatively new to this. I belong to another board but have grown tired of remarks about stockpilers and just wanted to find somewhere that didn't judge me for it.

I'm a retired nurse (disabled) and DH is a retired Pastor and is currently working at his second career...Substance Abuse Counselor. We are preparing to move to Florida the end of this month. He will be retiring and we will both be doing the things we love most in life. Hopefully, stockpiling will help us realize our dreams.

I have seen many of you on other boards and I'm thankful you are all here. Looking forward to getting to know you all and to learn the tricks of the trade.

I do too. Was very sad to see the board and threads are fairly idle. Great looking site but not much goin' on.

Yeah. The lady that set it up for us had some personal issues going on (adopted/fostered some kiddos), and I haven't seen from her since.

very sad...maybe we can take advantage of the lovely site and help it grow. I know those kiddos can be a handful. Mine are all grown, thank God. Would love to share stockpile information. I'm having my first yardsale and plan to sell my stockpile of about 200 items. Not much, but I'm moving and hate to pack and move the stuff.

I am about to have another stockpile sale myself. This will be my 5th one since last July!! They are quite a lot of fun, if you ask me!! I think it's smart to sell before you move. That way, when you get where you are going, you can start back up again.

Are you moving to an area that will have better shopping? That would be so awesome!
